Have a seat with us

We are delighted to be part of the ‘Please have a seat’ campaign in Thorntree, offering older people a seat to have a rest, drink and use the facilities.

The campaign is very simple but effective, it enables older people an opportunity to rest in a safe space, while out and about, which we hope will encourage more people to get out and become less isolated.

If you’d like to get out but you can’t make it the whole journey without a rest, that’s where we come in. We are ideally situated on the main route to the local shops in Thorntree, meaning you can have a chat with us on your way there, and even on your way back!

We have lots of activities running too so we have plenty to talk about and we always have a smile on our face. We love meeting new people and building friendships in our community, so we hope you feel welcome and take us up on the offer sometime soon.
