Halloween at CVL
It's Friday the 13th so what better day to tell you all about our Halloween half term, running from 31st October to 2nd November across Thorntree and North Ormesby.
We have three days of Halloween themed activities for adults and children, ending with an open house at our centre in Thorntree. We welcome everyone to don their best fancy dress and join us for fun, frolics and food!
Did you know Halloween and fancy dress costumes contribute huge amounts to unnecessary waste and pollution because of their throw away nature...not only that but they cost a lot too! So why not join us to make your own costume from recycled materials for free.
Following on our quest to be more environmentally friendly, we will be using the seeds we collect from our pumpkin carving session, to make soups and various other lovely recipes for us and the wildlife around us. Nothing will go to waste and we'll show you how too.
Everything is free and regular activities run as normal apart from Boys in Blue which has been moved to an earlier time to allow them to attend the party. Activity locations have been specified where they have been changed or not at our centre in Thorntree. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult, so please contact us for more information or to book.
