Community Hugs friends

Our new look Community Hugs has taken over from our very popular Coffee and Catch up, at the new time of 10:30am to 1pm every Wednesday. And with the change we now offer new support and guidance services and we’ll also see some friendly faces pop along every now and then, to give us a special update.

Last month…

…we welcomed guest speaker, Sarah from Safer Communities and Robyn and Gerry from Cleveland Police Crime Prevention team who provided an information session about how to keep safe at home and in your local area.

This month…

…we welcome Sarah back to talk about avoiding scams and this time she brings Step Forward Tees Valley, along with Tracy from Independent Age - with rising costs making life more expensive, it’s more important than ever to stay informed about money you may be entitled to and help that’s available in your area. Here’s what you can hear more about if you come along:

  • budgeting

  • cooking tips for eating on a budget

  • local hints and tips

  • staying safe and warm

  • your rights and choices

To find out more about our next event on Wednesday 30 November, contact us on 01642 989254 or send a message on Facebook.

Next month…

…we welcome PCSO Lesley Barron on Wednesday 7 December, so if you have anything you’d like to ask or any concerns about your community, pop along.
