Summer activities

This Summer we’re excited to welcome two new activities just for the holidays: Amplify music sessions and Digging Deep youth.

Amplify is a new music workshop for 10 to 16 year olds, running for six weeks from Monday 31st July at 4pm to 5:30pm every week, in partnership with Youth Focus: North East. The course is designed to offer an exciting and engaging experience for young people to learn about different types of music, meet people working in the music industry, develop their creative ideas and perform. No previous musical experience is necessary as the course will bring everyone up to the same level and those who are happy to, will show off their skills to audiences too.
We also have a new out door activity designed for children aged 8 to 16 years old on Tuesdays from 1pm to 3pm every week over the Summer holidays. The new Digging Deep youth session is all thanks to funding from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland and is designed to encourage young people to express their creativity while learning about nature and reducing anti-social behaviour. Throughout the course we will build a wellbeing corner, design bird boxes, and create wildlife hotels. At the end of the holidays, we will host a celebratory picnic for families to come and see the children's hard work too.

Both activities are free of charge but do require booking, so please contact us on 01642 989254 or email us at hello@communityventureteesvalley.org to get your place now.
