We are very happy to announce that we have reached an agreement with Middlesbrough Council to ensure the nursery will remain open and will also run five days a week from September 2023, with a new approval to work with under 2's.

Firstly, we’d like to thank everyone for their ongoing support and dedication over this last year, even when it’s been hard. There have been a lot of barriers to overcome since the pandemic, including low numbers, financial concerns, changes to regulations and local opinions to set right, but our aim has always been to ensure the children and families are supported, so we’re very happy to be able to share this news with you.

The nursery operates from within the Council’s community hub building and changes to the hub’s operating model mean some other services are no longer available on Fridays, but the nursery will resume operating five days a week. We have worked very hard to reach this agreement with the Council and appreciate their commitment to our positive future.

To celebrate this huge achievement, we will hosting various events and activities from September onwards, including a new programme of events, holiday activities and offers to support everyone as we move forward. We hope you will get more from Pavilion Nursery 2.0, as we start a fresh, attract new families and build back up together.
